Negligence

It took me a long time to put up the previous post - two months to be exact. On top of things, that post was talking about events that happened in August. In those last four months, I have been taking a lot of pictures, just posting has been a lower priority for various reasons. I've also been traveling considerably, for both work and pleasure. So you can expect a flurry of posts updating you on these trips and other photographic experiences.

(August 8th) Dolph Park is one of my favorite locations to shoot in Ann Arbor. It is rather small and may not have the largest diversity, but it for its size it always holds surprises. The trails are great and it doesn't suffer from the overcrowding of many of Ann Arbor's other parks that make wildlife viewing difficult.

Today was highlighted by a cooperative Philadelphia vireo, a mellow cottontail, and this small American toad. Legend has it that the eyes of toads are made of gold.
